What God Will Do!

“…to give you…houses full of all good things, which you did not fill, hewn-out wells which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant.”

What God Will Do
It is amazing what God will do when you believe what He says He will do for you. The question is, Who are you going to believe? Other people and your own thoughts may tell you that it’s impossible. But people are limited; God is unlimited. People are natural; God is supernatural. People look at facts, statistics, what’s happened in the past, what’s supposed to happen in the future. God goes beyond normal logic. He parts Red Seas. He brings dead people back to life. He takes a shepherd boy from the fields and makes him into the greatest king who ever lived. He gave Sarah a baby when she was ninety years old. He took Joseph from being in prison to being the prime minister of Egypt in a single day. Who knows where God is going to take you? You haven’t seen, heard, or imagined what He has in store. You may not see how it can happen, but you don’t have to figure it out. All you have to do is believe and God will cause you to defy the odds.
A Prayer for Today
 “Father, thank You that You are the Most High God, and Your power can turn impossible circumstances around and bring an abundance of favor. Thank You that I walk by faith and not by sight. I am going to keep believing, keep praising, and looking to You to defy all the odds against me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

  Sovereign God, create in me a clean heart and cleanse me of all my sin. Give me an obedient heart and teach me to follow your laws and keep your commands. May all I do and say bring honor to your holy name. Thank you for the gift of your Holy Spirit and for your everlasting love. Amen.

Stay in Balance!

  Then Jesus said, “Let’s go off by ourselves to a quiet place and rest awhile.” He said this because there were so many people coming and going that Jesus and his apostles didn’t even have time to eat. Mark 6:31 Stay in Balance Everywhere Jesus went, He was healing people, teaching in the synagogues, pouring Himself into His disciples. People made constant demands on His time and energies. Imagine how He felt. As the Son of God, He had this incredible power, anointing, wisdom, so much to offer. Yet at times, when He was exhausted, He would go away from the crowds and get alone so He could be refreshed. Despite the pressing needs around Him, Jesus knew that He had to take care of His temple.  If the Son of God had to be alone and rest, if He couldn’t meet all the demands of the people around Him, why do we think we can go all the time and be everything for everyone?
