Converterlating by Investing Time, Talent, and Treasure

“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” (2 Corinthians 9:8)

As in salvation, the transforming power of God does all of the work in the CONVERTERLATING process. It is initiated by God, continued by God, and finished by God. We are the mere instruments, vessels, or modalities for the working power of God to perform in us and through us.

God creates in the yield-active CONVERTERLATOR the God-given desire to give and invest our time, talents, and treasures in kingdom expansion. This God-given desire then develops into a God-driven action to do the investing.

As CONVERTERLATORS we have made the great discovery that our CONVERTERLATING the perishable into the imperishable results in “padding our eternal 401(k).”  This is huge motivation for us.

As CONVERTERLATORS, we are to discover that CONVERTERLATING activity in our lives is the major gateway for God to work in our circumstances. CONVERTERLATING enables us to see the goodness of God’s Word, and it enables us to get a taste of the power of the coming age.

Creating the desire to CONVERTERLATE and trumping the desire to CONSUMERLATE on the perishing things of this world can be addicting!

We once again realize the critical importance of following the principles in Kingdom of God regarding the Word of God: Read it, eat it, live it, and God will perform his good Word toward you. Our “secular greed” is then increasingly replaced with a “spiritual greed.” Investing in kingdom advancement becomes more important to us than what this temporary, fleeting, and perishing world says is so important.

My 100-year-old aunt taught me a saying she learned in her early years in grade school: “A habit is like a cable. We weave it one strand each day until it becomes so strong it cannot be broken.”

I have taken the liberty to change word habit to faith. “Faith is like a cable. We weave it one strand each day until it becomes so strong, it cannot be broken.”

CONVERTERLATING not only becomes a habit, but it also becomes a modality process for increasing our faith relationship with God.

Today, ask yourself:

Am I weaving my faith into such a strong strand that it cannot be broken?

Experience SON POWER!

                    Experience SON POWER I love to watch the clouds in the sky during the day and in the brightness of the moon at night. Watching those clouds move is an illustration to me of how God is always on the move. He is continually working to change our circumstances and is always available to intervene in the affairs of mankind.   The Roots of Hope Scripture: Habakkuk 3:17–19 “Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The land was soon to be invaded and, because of the disobedience of the people to God over time, prosperity was no more.
