How to Release SON POWER in Your Life

“Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.” (Romans 8:5–6)

Focusing on what the Spirit desires is critical for SON POWER to operate in the life of the believer. If we focus only on satisfying the desires of the sinful nature, we will not have the privilege of seeing the GOD FACTOR become reality.

The believer has been transferred to a new paradigm, where the rules and power for the way we live are sourced in the Holy Spirit of God. We must focus our mind on what the Spirit desires, trusting him to work out our salvation by his power.

Trusting in self to live the Christian life ends in total failure because our sufficiency for doing so does not exist. We have died to the law, and we have been released from the law, now that we trust in Jesus Christ to be our personal Lord and Savior, so we can serve God in the newness of the Spirit.

“But now we have been released from the law, for we died to it and are no longer captive to its power. Now we can serve God, not in the old way of obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way of living in the Spirit.” (Romans 7:6)

The power of the Spirit – SON POWER – is released as we trust the Holy Spirit to empower us. “So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.” (Romans 8:1–2)

This revelation is SHOCK and AWE when we soak our heart in it, sow to the Spirit by asking him to empower us, and flow with him, under his control in our daily life. As we implement this major revelation, we will experience growth in our relationship with God.

Talk to God

Father, help me to understand what is being said here. Thank you for releasing me from trusting in myself to try to obey the law. I realize I have been qualified, delivered, and transferred into a new paradigm so I can now live under the control of your Holy Spirit as I trust in his empowerment.

I trust the Holy Spirit to control my life from this moment on! In Jesus name, Amen.

Experience SON POWER!

                    Experience SON POWER I love to watch the clouds in the sky during the day and in the brightness of the moon at night. Watching those clouds move is an illustration to me of how God is always on the move. He is continually working to change our circumstances and is always available to intervene in the affairs of mankind.
