Lord God, you are all I need. Even when I am weak, I am strong because I trust in your steadfast love and care. I am always secure in your powerful and protective embrace. Amen.

You were created in His image. He didn’t make any mistakes. You didn’t get shortchanged. He knew every weakness you would have. He knew the areas you would struggle in. So quit beating yourself up, living unworthy, letting condemnation hold you back. Receive His grace and mercy and move forward with boldness and faith. With God’s blessing, you have to start blessing yourself. When you’re tempted to say something negative, turn it around. Instead of “I’m not attractive,” say “I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Instead of “I’ve made too many mistakes,” say “I am forgiven, redeemed, and restored.” Instead of “I’ll never be successful,” say “I’m surrounded by favor.” You have a destiny to fulfill. "After the earthquake a fire, but Adonai was not in the fire. After the fire there was a soft whisper of a voice."   (1 Kings 19:12) Listen Up! Listening is a lost art today. We can be so concerned about expressing our thoughts and opinions that we don't listen closely to others—or even to God. If we're not careful, distractions and busyness can drown out the voice that matters most in our lives, the voice of our heavenly Father. The good news is that you can learn to tune out the negative noise of the world and start listening for God's voice, for hopeful, positive, faith-filled thoughts. Be receptive and listen for His still, small voice on the inside of you. God speaks not only through the Bible but also through godly counsel and His Holy Spirit.
